On the evening of April 21, 2022, a 25-year-old female, Alexandra Lashay Robinson, was found deceased from a gunshot wound to the neck outside the Blake Apartments on East 12th Avenue in Sheffield, Alabama. Friends and family knew the Sheffield High School graduate, who was a mother to a son and a daughter, by the affectionate nicknames 'Alex' and 'Mooka'. She was remembered as having a loving and caring heart, with a particular fondness for her children and her grandmother.
