On October 29, 2023, in Sheffield, Alabama, 38-year-old Ashley Lynn Newton McClung was tragically killed in a murder-suicide incident involving her boyfriend, 40-year-old Christopher Narmore. The altercation occurred at Park Place Apartments, where an argument between the couple escalated, leading Narmore to fatally shoot McClung with a .410 shotgun before turning the weapon on himself.
