On May 22, 2022, in Riverside, Alabama, 13-year-old Caroline "Cara" Vance was tragically killed in a murder-suicide orchestrated by her father, 54-year-old William Huntoon "Billy" Vance. Authorities responded to a call about a suicidal individual at the Vance residence on Depot Street.
