On May 24, 2022, at approximately 2:37 a.m., authorities responded to a reported shooting at 7365 Old Acton Road in Moody, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 58-year-old Ralph Earl Cardy deceased from a gunshot wound. The scene was secured and turned over to the St. Clair County Criminal Investigation Division for further examination.
