In the quiet town of Moody, Alabama, a domestic disturbance call on the night of January 22, 2024, led to the discovery of a heart-wrenching family tragedy. Inside a home on Argo Margaret Road, police found 61-year-old John D. Bowlin, a male, deceased from a gunshot wound. His wife, Connie Bowlin, aged 60, was also found with a gunshot injury but was alive and transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
The investigation into the violent encounter quickly focused on a member of
their own family. Their son, 35-year-old John Adam Bowlin, was identified as the alleged assailant. In the early morning hours following the incident, the St. Clair County SWAT team located and apprehended John Adam Bowlin without incident. He was taken into custody and subsequently held at the St. Clair County Jail.
