On January 7, 2023, in Foley, Alabama, 57-year-old Cindy Marie Nelson Blackwell was tragically killed in a domestic incident. That evening, the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office received a call reporting that Cindy's husband, Scott Blackwell, was exhibiting strange behavior while armed with a pistol.
