On February 5, 2023, a tragic shooting occurred in Falkville, Alabama, resulting in the death of 62-year-old Mitchell Ray Beard. The incident took place around 6:00 p.m. at a residence on Goodwin Road, where deputies from the Morgan County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a shooting.
