On April 13, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in New Market, Alabama, resulting in the deaths of 64-year-old Ann Ferrell and 31-year-old Charlie Walker. The Madison County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call around 12:20 p.m. reporting a shooting at a residence on Rose Valley Drive. Upon arrival, deputies discovered both victims had been fatally shot.
