In the early hours of a December morning in 2018, a domestic dispute in a home on Buddy Williamson Road in New Market, Alabama, turned fatal. Thomas Murphree, a 49-year-old male, was shot and subsequently died from his injuries. The incident, which took place on December 19, involved a woman identified as Elyssa Nelson.
