On April 13, 2023, in New Market, Alabama, 64-year-old Ann Ferrell and 31-year-old Charlie Walker were fatally shot in their residence on Rose Valley Drive. The Madison County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call reporting the incident around 12:20 p.m. Upon arrival, deputies discovered both victims deceased at the scene.
