On August 4, 2015, in New Market, Alabama, 67-year-old Carol Jean Smallwood was tragically murdered alongside her family members. The victims included her daughter, Kristen Smallwood, who was nine months pregnant; Kristen's unborn child, Loryn Brooke Smallwood; Kristen's 8-year-old son, Clayton Chambers; and 1-year-old nephew, Eli Sokolowski. The perpetrator, Christopher Henderson, was Kristen's estranged husband. He, along with his first wife, Rhonda Carlson, planned and executed the killings.
