On April 17, 2023, at approximately 2:15 a.m., Birmingham Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting at an apartment complex in the 600 block of Earline Circle. Upon arrival, they discovered 22-year-old Brandon Urquhart inside an apartment, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to UAB Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
