On June 2, 2023, 29-year-old Darryl Moffett was fatally shot in Prichard, Alabama. The incident occurred on Church Street near Edison Drive, where witnesses reported hearing approximately 15 to 20 gunshots that night. Prichard Police responded to the scene and initiated a homicide investigation. At the time, no arrests had been made, and authorities urged anyone with information to come forward.
