On a late summer evening in 2023, the life of 21-year-old Aaron Lamar Maxwell, a Black male from Midfield, Alabama, was tragically cut short. On August 21st, in the 500 block of Violet Street, an assault occurred around 10 p.m. that would prove fatal for the young man. He had been shot, and the circumstances surrounding the incident remain a somber mystery.
