On a Saturday night in the fall of 2014, a sense of unease settled over a block in Northeast Washington, D.C. At approximately 10:10 p.m. on October 25th, the sound of gunfire shattered the night in the 1200 block of Brentwood Road, NE. When police arrived, they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a local hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
