Jermaine Dews, a 27-year-old Black male, was fatally shot on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 14, 2014, in Washington, D.C. The incident occurred at approximately 3:10 p.m. in the 5800 block of Field Place, Northeast, in the Burrville neighborhood.
