On the morning of October 31, 2023, 22-year-old Jaylin Reed was fatally shot in Fosters, Alabama. Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a shooting on Timbertop Lane around 6:30 a.m. Upon arrival, a deputy who is also a licensed paramedic attempted to render aid to Reed, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
