In the quiet community of Fort Mitchell, Alabama, the life of 46-year-old Dwight Carlton Jones was abruptly ended on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. Reports from the Russell County Sheriff's Office indicate that deputies responded to a call of gunshots on Apache Trail at approximately 8:45 in the morning. Upon their arrival, they discovered Dwight Jones suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite attempts to render aid, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
