On April 7th, at approximately 7:08 PM, a person who heard the shots flagged down police officers in the 500 block of Parkland Place SE. There, they discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was identified as 23-year-old Larry Wallace of Southeast.
Emergency services transported him to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
