On August 7, 2024, at approximately 4:00 AM, 41-year-old Horace Eugene "Bubba" Sellers III was fatally shot in Grand Bay, Alabama. Sellers and a female companion were ambushed while departing a residence on Hall Road. Both sustained gunshot wounds and managed to drive to a nearby Chevron gas station on Highway 90 to seek assistance. Sellers was airlifted to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries, while the female victim survived and provided information to authorities.
