On the Halloween night of October 31, 2024, the life of 15-year-old Karsyn Proctor was tragically cut short in his own Skyland neighborhood in Mobile, Alabama. personality. He possessed an entrepreneurial spirit, baking and selling creative treats to his classmates. His faith was also a significant part of his life; he was a member of the Bethesda Christian Center and had recently been baptized. Those who knew him felt the lasting impact of his vibrant presence.
In the wake of the shooting, the Mobile police began an investigation that led them to seek a 14-year-old suspect. A court order was obtained to help identify the individual. The investigation progressed, and by November 11, 2024, an arrest had been made in connection with the fatal shooting of Karsyn Proctor.
