On October 7, 2010, in Butte, Alaska, 40-year-old Jason Matthew Donlon was fatally shot by his wife, Lisa Donlon, while he slept. She fired a .45-caliber handgun, striking him once in the head and five times in the back. Following the shooting, Lisa contacted 911 to report the incident.
