In early July 2015, 42-year-old Lynn Butler and her friend, 61-year-old Richard Casler, were reported missing from their campsite near mile 79 of the Denali Highway in Alaska. Responding to the report, Alaska State Troopers discovered evidence of an altercation involving gunfire at the campsite. After an extensive search, their bodies were found on July 5, 2015, inside a dilapidated trailer in the vicinity.
