On July 24, 2016, David John Williams, a 43-year-old commercial fisherman from Clarks Point, Alaska, was found deceased aboard the fishing vessel Rondys. The Gun Violence Archive reported that Williams died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on the vessel, located at coordinates 58.8351° N, 158.5415° W.
