Kaylie Marie Harris, a 21-year-old U.S. Army Specialist, died by suicide on May 2, 2021, at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska. Born on February 26, 2000, in Springfield, Ohio, she was an active-duty military police officer and a supporter of the Equality Now movement. Harris was known for her charismatic attitude, sense of humor, fearlessness, and bravery.
