Hispanic/Latina Angela Telles, a 34-year-old woman from Anchorage, was killed on the morning of September 11, 2022, inside her apartment on the 8100-block of Bearberry Street in the Sand Lake area. Police had first been alerted at 8:11 a.m. by a man calling dispatch and saying he was armed and wanted to harm himself. Responding officers went to the Bearberry Street residence and found 34-year-old Angela Telles, Female, dead from a single gunshot wound to the head.
