On March 10, 2014, in Anchorage, Alaska, 47-year-old Mae Irene Melovidov and 55-year-old Robert Workman were inside a tent with a third individual near the intersection of Karluk Street and East 5th Avenue. Around 6:00 p.m., an unidentified male approached the campsite, opened the tent door, and fired multiple shots at the occupants.
