Alden Gerald Walker, Sr., a 71-year-old Alaskan Native man, died on May 25, 2021 in Holy Cross, Alaska. He was shot on a boat by his son, 34-year-old Devyn Walker. After the shooting, Devyn fled to a residence in Holy Cross, where he barricaded himself, leading to a nearly 24-hour standoff with the Alaska State Troopers.
