On March 13, 2022, at approximately 9:39 p.m., Alaska State Troopers responded to a shooting incident on Forest Hills Drive in Meadow Lakes, near Wasilla, Alaska. Inside a camper at the location, 28-year-old Wasilla resident Kelsey Damman was found with a fatal gunshot wound. Despite immediate efforts by the other occupant and first responders, Damman was pronounced dead at the scene.
