31-year-old male Alaskan Native Timothy Evans was found dead on the morning of August 19, 2023, in Dillingham, Alaska, along with 32-year-old female Jennifer Gardiner. Their bodies were discovered in a residence near Dillingham's airport after a local resident called law enforcement.

Upon arrival, Dillingham Police and Alaska State Troopers determined both Evans and Gardiner had been fatally shot.
