On October 6, 2023, at approximately 4:05 a.m., Alaska State Troopers responded to reports of an assault in Wasilla, Alaska. Upon arrival, they discovered 36-year-old Wasilla resident Jacob Wodkowski with a gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to an Anchorage area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Following the incident, law enforcement identified 38-year-old Dustin Peters, also of Wasilla, as a person of interest. A manhunt ensued, and Peters was apprehended on October ...Read More
