On October 26, 2024, 13-year-old Braylen Hardy was tragically struck by a vehicle while sitting on his ATV in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 6:45 p.m. near Avenue E, following a large group ATV ride that Braylen had participated in with nearly 100 other riders. As the event concluded, shots were fired nearby on Avenue D, prompting a vehicle to speed away from the scene.
