In the early morning hours of the Fourth of July, 2024, the community of Altoona, Alabama, was rocked by a violent incident that claimed the life of 35-year-old Tyler Golden. Deputies from the Etowah County Sheriff's Office responded to a call shortly after 1:00 a.m. at a residence on Self Street, where they discovered Golden had been fatally shot.
