Death by Force

On June 21, 2023, at approximately 5:30 p.m., 22-year-old Tadarrien Griffin was fatally shot in the 100 block of 71st Street North in Birmingham, Alabama. Responding officers from the East Precinct discovered Griffin lying unresponsive next to a vehicle. Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel arrived shortly thereafter and pronounced him deceased at the scene.
