In the waning hours of a December evening, a life full of promise was tragically cut short in a devastating collision. On December 22, 2023, 21-year-old Michaya Jumese Parker was killed in a head-on crash in Midfield, Alabama. The incident, which unfolded around 8:53 p.m. at the intersection of Bessemer Super Highway and Sugar Ray Drive, was the culmination of a police pursuit of a stolen vehicle.
