On September 2, 2023, 33-year-old Koreyanta "Koko" Davis was fatally shot in Midfield, Alabama. At approximately 9:50 p.m., officers responded to reports of a physical altercation in the 500 block of Henson Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Davis lying near the roadway, suffering from a gunshot wound; she was pronounced dead at the scene.
