On October 5, 2019, 37-year-old Tomichael "Kitty" Alexander was fatally shot in the front yard of a residence on Carol Circle in Midfield, Alabama. The incident occurred around 8:22 a.m., when Midfield police officers responded to reports of a person shot. Upon arrival, they found Alexander unresponsive; she was pronounced dead at the scene.
