On August 5, 2022, at approximately 6:20 a.m., Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the 1900 block of Springlake Court in Birmingham, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 29-year-old Jordan Harley Maxwell lying in the driveway of a residence, suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics provided immediate medical attention and transported Maxwell to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
