On January 29, 2022, 25-year-old Madison Shea Pilkington was found deceased in her Hoover, Alabama, apartment. Concerned family members, noting her absence from work, discovered her body under a pile of blankets on the couch, with a white grocery bag over her head. She had sustained multiple blunt force injuries, indicating a violent assault.
