A woman is murdered \u0026 found in the Brandywine River
On July 23, 2019, Susan Ledyard, a 50-year-old woman from Wilmington, Delaware, was found dead in the Brandywine River. Her body was discovered around 7:39 a.m. near Northeast Boulevard, with visible injuries. An autopsy later determined the cause of death as blunt force trauma and drowning, and her death was ruled a homicide.
