On March 30, 2021, 27-year-old Jubraun Leonard Wright was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred shortly after 9 a.m. in the 1600 block of 13th Avenue North. Upon arrival, Birmingham Police officers found Wright on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene by Birmingham Fire and Rescue.
