Johnnie Will Anderson III, a 30-year-old Army veteran from Homewood, Alabama, was found deceased in his apartment on Aspen Circle on September 10, 2021. The Homewood Police Department was alerted after his body, already in a state of decomposition, was discovered, leading authorities to investigate his death as a homicide. Following an autopsy, foul play was confirmed as the cause, and his car was also reported missing from the scene. It was later located in Hoover, Alabama.
