Hakeem "Sonny" Joseph, a 32-year-old Bridgeport resident, was tragically murdered on March 25, 2015, while working at his family's store, the T-Market, located on Reservoir Avenue. A masked gunman entered the store and fired multiple rounds, killing Joseph. Despite the violent nature of the crime, there appeared to be no attempt at robbery. The brutal killing was captured on the store's surveillance footage, but the shooter has never been identified.
