A 15-year-old girl is killed on her walk home from a basketball game in 1970
On February 26, 1970, Marilee Burt began walking towards her house in Columbine Valley after a basketball game at Goddard Middle School. Several witnesses saw Marilee walk through Berry Drive, Bowles Avenue and Middlefield Road; however, she never made it home.
