A 15-year-old's body is found in a ditch.
On October 28, 1980, the body of 15-year-old Stephanie Ann Bauman was discovered in a ditch along County Road 173, near U.S. 36 in Arapahoe County, Colorado. She had run away from a group home two weeks prior to her death and had been staying with various acquaintances during that time. Her body showed signs of bruising, and it was determined that she died from hypothermia after being abandoned in the remote area.
