In the late winter of 2020, the community of Carbon-Hill, Alabama, was unsettled by the disappearance of 51-year-old Lisa Warren. A female resident of the small city, she was last seen on February 24th. The following day, her husband, Robert Perry Warren, a 51-year-old Carbon Hill city councilman, reported her missing, sparking an investigation that would soon take a dark turn.
