On November 24, 2019, 25-year-old Fredrick Asher from Florence, Alabama, was fatally shot outside Euphoria Sports Bar and Hookah Lounge in Birmingham. The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. after patrons were asked to leave the club following a fight. As individuals gathered in the parking lot, a suspect drove by in a dark vehicle and opened fire, injuring five people.
