On July 15, 2019, at approximately 9:30 p.m., 28-year-old Shaneia Causwell was fatally shot during a triple shooting incident in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred at 1776 Sixth Way NW in the East Pinson Valley community. Causwell was transported to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Two of her relatives were also injured in the shooting but survived.
