Death by Force

On August 1, 2019, 15-year-old Ke'Marius D. "Mac" Scott of Fairfield, Alabama, was fatally shot in Brighton. The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. on Smith Street, where Scott was visiting a friend's residence. Upon arrival, Brighton police officers found Scott with a gunshot wound to the head; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
