The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is probing a fatality after a man was discovered in an overturned vehicle on Sunday night.

At approximately 9:30 p.m., deputies were dispatched to an accident near the intersection of Highway 79 and Cleage Drive in the Pinson area.

Upon arrival, authorities found a 21-year-old man trapped inside a car that had collided with a tree. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
